Effective Communication Training

Would you like to improve your communication with your mentee? Communicating with young people is not always easy and may take some practice. In this training, we will discuss some tips on how to educate yourself and your mentee on emotional literacy. We will also focus on how equitable mentoring relationships are the most successful and how to promote equality in your meetings.

Virtual Training Opportunity

The goal of this training is that mentors develop awareness of trauma in order to support youth in developing resilience to cope with the effects of trauma.
Participants will: 1. Increase their knowledge and understanding of trauma 2. Explore youth behaviors through a trauma-informed lens 3. Explore evidence-based strategies for supporting youth in developing resiliency.

Join All In Mentoring for our inaugural AIM For Fun(draiser)! This event will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at the Waverly Area Veterans Post. This year’s event will feature entertainment by Day Peace Comedy, a silent auction, an assortment of desserts, all to support youth in the Waverly-Shell Rock area.
