Thank all of you for joining AIM to serve kids in our community! We (Ellie, Kori, and the AIM Board) appreciate the passion, dedication, and compassion you have shown to your mentees! All In Mentoring would not exist without mentors like you, and we thank you for all you have done!!
Most of our matches are school-based matches (only meet in school). If you are a hybrid or community-based match, some of the information below may not apply to your match. If you are unsure or have questions about anything, please reach out to Ellie or Kori.

End of School Year Information
If you are a school-based match, there are a few things to note as the school year comes to an end:
Finals Visits of the Year
The last day of school is Friday, May 29 and there is no school on Monday, May 25. We would highly recommend having your final meeting for the school year the week of May 18.
Summer Contact
Our Board of Directors has determined that school-based matches should not exchange personal contact information or have direct contact during the summer months. However, you are still encouraged to stay connected in a meaningful way. You may send emails, letters, updates, or pictures to AIM, and we will forward them to your mentee’s parent or guardian on your behalf. We know that hearing from you can mean a lot to your mentee, and they will likely enjoy learning about what you are doing over the summer and knowing you are thinking of them.
We will have two opportunities for you to see your mentee this summer. Mark your calendar for our match events on Thursday, June 18 and Tuesday, August 11. More details to come!
Match Relationship Survey
At the end of every school year, we would like for ALL mentors to complete a match relationship survey. Every mentee will complete a similar survey before the end of the school year as well. These surveys help AIM to know the impact the relationship is having on your mentee as well as to see if there are any areas that mentors feel more training or support would be helpful. These surveys will be emailed out soon to matches who have been together longer than 3 months, so be on the lookout.
Treats
The week of May 18th, we plan to deliver treats to every school before your scheduled meeting day/time for you to share with your mentee during your last visit. Please ask the secretary for your treats if they don't remember to give them to you when you arrive. If you are meeting at a day/time other than the one that was originally set up, please let your AIM contact (Kori or Ellie) know when you are meeting so we can make sure to deliver your goodies to the school on time.

Spectrum JamFest is an annual outdoor music festival held in downtown Cedar Falls that celebrates the incredible talent of local youth and school bands. Featuring rock, pop, hip-hop, country, punk, metal, folk, and more, JamFest is all about music, community, and inclusion. Proceeds from the event directly support the UNI Spectrum Project, a program that empowers children and young adults of all abilities through music, art, dance, and theatre.
JamFest brings the community together for an afternoon of live performances, food, and fun while uplifting the next generation of musicians. More information can be found here.

Waverly’s 21st Annual Art Walk
