Scheduling School-Based Mentoring Visits
|
School-Based Mentors- We hope you are getting excited to see your mentee soon! We guarantee they are looking forward to meeting with you again :) Here are a few things to know:

We will be waiting to contact your mentee's teacher until the second week of school. We like to give the teachers and kids a week or so to get settled before adding in mentoring.

Please let us know if there are any days/times you prefer to meet with your mentee
by August 15th using the survey link below. We would like to have your preferences before emailing your mentee's teacher.

Most matches will start meeting the week of September 14.

We Moved!

We're excited to share that All In Mentoring has a new home! ?You can now find us at Life Church located at 1013 E. Bremer Ave. in Waverly. Please use the Office Entrance on the Southeast corner of the building. (If the Office Entrance is locked, please ring the doorbell).
We are incredibly grateful to Life Church for generously donating office space to AIM. Their support allows us to continue investing more resources into serving local youth while giving our team room to grow. Our new location includes two offices instead of one, providing additional space to meet with volunteers, families, and community partners as we continue expanding our impact.

Happy Mail!

We want to re-introduce Happy Mail—a fun and simple way to share positive feedback with parents. Postcards will be available at each school throughout the year.
When you have something encouraging to share about your mentee, just jot it down on a postcard. It’s a great way to celebrate their progress and strengthen the connection between families and the mentoring experience. For example, you could share a note about your mentee having good sportsmanship when they lost in a game or about how they showed kindness to you during your mentoring time.
You can leave completed postcards at your mentee’s school—just let your match coordinator know, and we’ll take care of mailing them. Or, feel free to drop them off at the AIM office located inside Life Church in Waverly.

Communication Expectations with AIM
|
Our goal is to connect with each mentor once a month during the first year, and then every other month thereafter. If you'd like more frequent support, we're happy to accommodate—just let us know.
Whenever possible, we prefer these check-ins to happen in person or by phone. On occasion, email may be warranted.
We want to ensure we’re offering meaningful support without being a burden. If you have any questions or concerns about these communications, please reach out to Kori.
