Author Visit
Anesa Kajtazovic is a Waterloo author with a community and state following, in part from her time serving as the youngest woman elected to the Iowa Legislature (2011–2015). Her debut children’s book shares her personal story of becoming a refugee, written to help young readers and families better understand empathy and compassion.
